Hy-Line has announced a $2.5 million project to expand the Dr. Dennis Casey Research Farm. Capacity will be increased by 50 percent to allow for evaluation of pedigree-line stock out to 120 weeks. The objective is to extend persistency of production and to contribute to eggshell integrity during the latter third of the production cycle.
Dr. Neil O’Sullivan is now the director of Global Product Management. This will allow coordination with all production centers to ensure maintenance of genetic integrity. Dr. Danny Lubritz will serve as the Hy-Line International Director of Research and Development effective January 1st.
He was previously the Senior Geneticist for a major broiler breeding company and has 18 years of experience in quantitative genetics.
